Class 1 HGV Driver (Curtain Sider)

About the Role

We are currently seeking experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers to join our team in Stanford-le-Hope. This role involves operating a curtain sider vehicle, completing deliveries and collections across the region. Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a Class 1 curtain sider vehicle in compliance with UK road laws and company policies.
Complete deliveries and collections to various sites in a timely and professional manner.
Secure loads correctly and ensure all goods are transported safely.
Carry out vehicle checks and report any defects.
Maintain accurate records of working hours, deliveries, and collections.
Provide excellent customer service at delivery points.
Requirements
Valid UK Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence.
Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card (Digi Card).
Minimum of 6 months’ Class 1 driving experience (curtain sider experience preferred).
Good knowledge of UK road networks and regulations.
No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD, or IN endorsements).
Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work.
